I pretty much blame my occupation on National Geographic. I guess I always had a fascination with Tribalism and the human body as a kid, being in awe of those pictures of strange tribes people with bones through their noses.
I have travelled a fair amount overseas and still enjoy doing so on my holidays. For me piercing is far more than a fashion statement, it is a sign of where we come from as well as symbolizing our chosen path. Although people's reasons for piercing might vary extremely, I prefer to see it as a sub-conscious ritual procedure or experience and try to give as much of myself to each and every client.
Although I have pierced thousands of people I never lose sight of the fact that it might be their first time. I enjoy meeting people, talking, reading, surfing and adrenaline sports.
